Why we're here:
This blog is to highlight the unjust persecution of legitimate non-TV users at the hands of TV Licensing. These people do not require a licence and are entitled to live without the unnecessary stress and inconvenience caused by TV Licensing's correspondence and employees.

If you use equipment to receive live broadcast TV programmes, or to watch or download BBC on-demand programmes via the iPlayer, then the law requires you to have a TV licence and we encourage you to buy one.

If you've just arrived here from a search engine, then you might find our Quick Guide helpful.

Scottish TV Licensing Goon Enjoying Her Work

Over the years we have encountered some very strange behaviour by TV Licensing goons.

We have seen them hopping on one leg, pretending to make phone calls, spying through windows and generally scurrying for cover faster than rats seeing a Rentokil van.

In today's video we have another TV Licensing weirdo. The occupier tells her "I'm filming this by the way" and she replies "thank you" using facial expressions rarely seen since Monica Lewinsky was invited to admire Bill Clinton's cigar collection in the Oval Office.

In common with a lot of TV Licensing goons, this aircraft blonde is very reluctant to follow TV Licensing policy and confirm her identity.

A TV licence is only needed for those properties where equipment is used to receive TV programme services. Anyone who doesn't legally need a TV licence - just like the occupier in this case - is under no legal obligation at all to communicate or co-operate with TV Licensing.

We strongly recommend that legally-licence-free occupiers passively film any TV Licensing goon that appears on their doorstep and closes the door at the earliest opportunity.

Edit (19/9/14): It appears some YouTube commentators have noticed a striking resemblance between this particular goon and the character Garth from Wayne's World. Now that you mention it...
