Why we're here:
This blog is to highlight the unjust persecution of legitimate non-TV users at the hands of TV Licensing. These people do not require a licence and are entitled to live without the unnecessary stress and inconvenience caused by TV Licensing's correspondence and employees.

If you use equipment to receive live broadcast TV programmes, or to watch or download on-demand programmes via the BBC iPlayer, then the law requires you to have a licence and we encourage you to buy one.

If you've just arrived here from a search engine, then you might find our Quick Guide helpful.

TV Licence Resistance

TV Licence Resistance

When we're not writing articles here, we can frequently be found browsing and contributing to the TV Licence Resistance forums.

If you've never visited the TV Licence Resistance forums then please take the opportunity to pop across, sign up and introduce yourself.

Even now, some 8-years into our blogging campaign against TV Licensing, we regularly visit the TV Licence Resistance forums to share ideas, discuss scenarios, clarify misconceptions and generally absorb knowledge from members there. Many of those members have been campaigning against TV Licensing for far longer than we have.

If you sign up, please don't forget to mention that the TV Licensing Blog sent you. It's also useful if you begin by posting about your experience of TV Licensing. That way they'll know you're not just some weirdo that's strayed in from Digital Spy!
